Venues & Pitches
Every booking in 4league's facilities module — a training, a match, a team reservation, a client appointment — happens against a pitch that belongs to a venue. This page covers creating a venue and adding pitches to it. Once a venue has pitches, lay them out on a map with the Location Designer and set when each one can be booked with Opening Hours.
Creating, editing or deactivating a venue or a pitch is an org admin / owner action, or a staff member with the manage facilities capability assigned. A viewer without that capability sees the venue and pitch list read-only, with a "You don't have rights to edit this" notice instead of the edit form.
Venues vs. Pitches
A venue is a physical location — a sports complex, a school ground, a single stadium — with its own address, time zone and opening hours. A pitch (called a facility in the app's data model) is one bookable surface inside that venue: a full-size outdoor pitch, an indoor hall, a 5-a-side cage, a tennis or padel court. A venue can hold any number of pitches, and a pitch can later be split into zones so two teams can book two halves of the same pitch at once.
Creating a Venue
From the organization's Facilities → Pitches tab, tap Add venue. The venue form collects:

Saving takes you back to the pitches list, where the new venue appears with a chip for its time zone and a facility count. From there, use the pencil icon to edit the venue, or the floor-plan icon to open the Location Designer for it.
Free Plan: One Venue
The Free plan includes one venue, with the shared calendar, conflict detection and calendar-access privacy already included. Adding a second venue needs PRO — tapping Add venue a second time shows a PRO badge and routes to the upgrade flow instead of the form. Plans can change — see Payments & Packages for the current details.
The limit counts active venues only: deactivating a venue frees up the slot for a new one without losing the deactivated venue's history (see Deactivating below).
Adding Pitches & Facilities
Inside a venue's card on the Pitches tab, tap Add facility. The pitch form collects:

A newly created pitch has no saved position on the venue map yet. Open the Location Designer to place it, resize it, and optionally split it into zones.
Deactivating a Venue or Pitch
Venues and pitches are never hard-deleted from the app — only deactivated. A deactivated venue or pitch:
- Disappears from the active pitch and venue counts (freeing up a Free-plan slot).
- Can no longer be booked — its opening hours become read-only.
- Stays visible in the pitches list with an "Inactive" badge, so its booking history is never lost.
- Can be reactivated at any time from the same screen.
Deactivating a venue cancels bookings on every one of its pitches; deactivating a single pitch cancels only that pitch's bookings. Either way you're asked to confirm first, and the confirmation counts exactly how many bookings will be affected before you commit.
